🍳 Equipment

  • 8 x 8-inch glass baking dish (with lid)
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Grater

🛒 Ingredients

  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, cubed and at room temperature
  • 4 tablespoons butter (salted or unsalted)
  • ⅓ cup milk
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 (18-ounce) bag frozen sweet corn, thawed
  • Diced pickled jalapeños, to taste (optional)
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

👩‍🍳 How to Make Cream Cheese Corn Casserole

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium pot over low heat, melt the cream cheese and butter together.
  3. Stir in the milk until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.
  4. Add salt, black pepper, corn, and jalapeños (if using). Stir well.
  5. Pour the mixture into an 8 x 8-inch (or 2-quart) baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.

📝 Notes

An 18-ounce bag of frozen corn equals about 4 cups.
You may substitute two 15-ounce cans of corn (drained), but frozen corn is
highly recommended for the best flavor.

Don’t worry if the butter and cream cheese seem lumpy at first—once the milk
is added, the mixture will smooth out beautifully.
